The best of the best in Elk Grove! I've been going here since 2009 when I moved and I'm always treated like family! Top dishes for me: Veggie Chow Mein Hot and Sour soup Spring rolls Spicy Mongolian beef Given them a try :)

We picked up a large order to go for dinner. Food was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Staff was very friendly and helpfulWe will definitely be back! We have also dined in and service was fast and accommodating. Restaurant was very clean and refreshing. I recommend Bamboo Inn without hesitation.

Went with my cousins, there were 5 of us, for lunch on a Sunday just after noon. Not busy, but the place got more busy as we were there. Very clean and roomy. I've been here a couple times over the years as I don't live in the area and I've not been disappointed. The people are friendly and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, chow mein, chicken, fish and veggie. All were good! All had generous portions. We ordered 2 dishes that were fried chicken and fish. My only miss was a little too much batter. If they used a lighter batter that would kick it up a notch or two. The veggies were cooked just right. My favorite was the Tomato Beef Chow Mein. We ordered it Hong Kong style which means noodles are fried. This is a signature dish for me if a place can make this dish well I'll always be a fan. They hit it out of the park! The sauce was not overly sweet, bell peppers and tomatoes cooked just right. So good! We all enjoyed our lunch and of course will come back again!

I have driven by multiple times and decided to go. As I walked in I almost turned around. No one was in the place, it is 5 pm. A couple was waiting for their order and said the food was good. While eating my meal many customers came for pickup. The person at the counter did not acknowledge me, I had to get her attention to inform her I was eating in. I sat at a table and she said people like the spare ribs, I could not get much more info about the menu so I ordered from it. Chicken with Snow Pea Fresh snow peas, average portion of chicken. Brown sauce very good. Ambiance The restaurant was extremely clean, nice tables and chairs with clean tablecloths. It was pristine. Service Ok was thanked as I walked out. I would come back again.

I had dinner here recently when Corina was away. It was a cool late Spring evening and I had the Wor Wonton soup. It was very good, but a little smaller than my regular place in my neighborhood and it could have a little more flavor. As we are moving to this area I wanted to check this place out. I will return as other dishes I saw them serving looked pretty good.

Bamboo Inn has been in business at least a decade that I know of. Located at the corner of Laguna Blvd. and Bruceville Rd. I drove by many times but haven't tried it until recently. I usually order 10-15 min in advance for pick up. I like their chicken wings, salt & pepper pork chop, chow mein, and Singapore rice noodles (pictured). The lunch special is a good deal. You get a main and 2 sides for $13. I've dined in one time with family and it was nice and quiet. Service is quick! It's usually not too busy when I go during lunch hours.

This is one of the best Chinese food places in Sacramento the reason why I say that is because it's hard to find a place that has good cow Maine, it's always one place has one thing food but not the other, BUT this place has real good rice and chow Maine, love this place this is the orange chicken combo and it's off the hook, I love the orange chicken because they don't make it take like oranges, it has a nice coating to it and has a small kick to it love it

Great customer service and amazing food! The fried fish reminded me of my moms home cooked fish. It was so delicious, it didn't stand a chance. It was huge, but we couldn't stop eating it. The walnut shrimp was perfectly crispy, and like a beer batter. The cream cheese wontons were delicious and perfectly deep fried and fresh. The 1/2 and 1/2 spare rib special came with peking flavor and salt/pepper flavor. It was SO GOOD! I love that they add some orange to it, the citrus cuts through the sweetness. The chow fun had so much flavor, it must be my favorite in Elk Grove. Only down side is that entree orders do not come with white rice like some other Chinese restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Excellent lunch today, tops the previous two times. Yummy, hot, spicy kung pao chicken, so flavorful. No peanuts due to the common peanut allergies. Great customer service, huge portions I will return soon. If next visit is as good as today, their rating will be updated to 5 star. The rating today was upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.
